ABOUT MAJAI
I can remember when I was a little kid, going out to eat with my family, it wasn't the food I looked forward to when venturing to these restaurants, it was playing free form origami with my brothers. While waiting for our orders we would take turns folding little figures out of that little peace of papper that holds the napkins together. The only stipulations were: 1. That there could be no tears. 2.The final folded form must stand on its own.
Thinking back now, this was the start to my intrest in origami. From there I've continued to fold in my spare time between other projects. I've gotten a little better over the years just folding patterns and figuring out ways to incorporate different shapes into my fold patterns by looking at objects and trying to see their basic form in those patterns. However it wasn't until my rescent discovery of Robert Lang and his in depth explanation of point splitting and the Tree Method that I've seen a drastic change in the way I fold. I still have a lot to learn and I'm constantly lookinf for new ways of incorporting unorthadox folds in my crease patterns.
